Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire on New Lydenburg Street in Charlton.
Twelve vehicles in a car park were damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0435 and the fire was brought under control by 0624. Crews from East Greenwich, Plumstead, East Ham, Greenwich and Deptford fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police.
