Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a youth hostel on Tottenham Lane in Hornsey.
Part of a room under a mansard roof was damaged by fire. Around 50 people left the building before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1935 and the fire was under control by 2023. Fire crews from Hornsey and Tottenham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
