Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire in a single storey derelict building on Loxford Lane in Ilford.
Part of the building was destroyed by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2218 and the fire was under control at 2344. Fire crews from Ilford and Barking fire stations were in attendance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Met police and by the Brigade’s fire investigators.
