Five fire engines and around 35 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Turpington Lane in Bromley.
Half of a four-roomed flat on the 10th floor of a residential block was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1002 and the fire was under control by 1043. Fire crews from Bromley, Orpington and Beckenham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
