Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters tackled a fire on Brook Green in Hammersmith.
A small part of a lower ground floor flat in a mid-terraced three storey house was damaged by the fire. One woman was rescued by the fire crews using breathing apparatus and attended to on scene.
The Brigade was called at 0256 and the fire was under control at 0359. Fire crews from Hammersmith, Kensington and Fulham fire stations were in attendance.
The cause of fire is under investigation.
