Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters tackled a house fire on Fleetwood Road in Dollis Hill in the early hours of this morning.
A two-storey semi-detached house was destroyed by the fire and half of the roof of the neighbouring property was also damaged by the blaze. Eight people left the property before the Brigade arrived. A woman, suffering smoke inhalation, and a man were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 0221 and the fire was under control by 0427. Crews from Willesden, West Hampstead, Park Royal and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
