Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a flat fire on Douglas Crescent in Hayes.
A flat on the first floor of the two storey block of flats is gutted by the fire. One woman and one man left the property before the Brigade arrived. Fire crews assisted one woman in evacuating from a ground floor flat. No injuries are reported.
The Brigade was called at 1501 and the fire was under control by 1621. Fire crews from Southall, Northolt, Hillingdon, Heston, Stanmore and Chelsea fire stations were in attendance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
