Sadly, a woman has died following a flat fire on Purves Road in Kensal Rise.
A small part of a bedroom in a flat on the first floor of a mid-terraced block was damaged by fire. A woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 1102 and the fire was under control by 1126. Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from North Kensington, Willesden and West Hampstead fire stations were in attendance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
