Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire on Whitefield Avenue in Brent Cross.
A two-storey end-of terraced house was destroyed by fire. Part of the roof was also damaged. A woman was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews suffering from smoke inhalation.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers received 11 calls about the fire.
The Brigade was called at 0913 and the fire was brought under control by 1014. Crews from Hendon, Willesden, Finchley, West Hampstead and Paddington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
