Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire on Lowden Road in Edmonton.
Part of the first floor of a two floored terraced house was destroyed by fire.
The Brigade was called at 0909 and the incident was under control by 0952. Fire crews from Edmonton, Enfield and Tottenham fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Met police and the Brigade's fire investigators.
