Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a residential block of flats on Ealing Road in Brentford.
An area of artificial grass on the roof of the building was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
One of the Brigade’s 32-metre turntable ladders was used at the scene to get water on to the roof of the building.
The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took 22 calls to the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1742 and the fire was under control by 1849. Fire crews from Ealing, Acton, Heston, Chiswick and Hammersmith fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
