Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a stadium on Whitton Road in Twickenham.
A small part of a third-floor kitchen was damaged by fire. Crews ventilated the building due to smoke logging. Around 65 people left the building before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1047 and the fire was under control by 1136. Fire crews from Twickenham, Richmond and Feltham fire stations attended the scene.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by cardboard boxes placed on top of an electric hob.
