Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Carrara Wharf in Fulham.
A flat on the second floor in a four-storey residential building was completely destroyed by the fire and a small part of the external balcony was also damaged in the blaze. Fifteen people evacuated the building before the Brigade arrived. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been due to an electrical fault.
The Brigade was called at 2342 and the fire was under control at 0115. Fire crews from Fulham, Wandsworth, Chelsea and Hammersmith fire stations were in attendance.
