Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Aylesbury Street in Neasden.
Half of the ground floor of a two-storey terraced house was damaged by the fire. One man suffering from smoke inhalation was rescued by fire crews using a short extension ladder and was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 1854 and the fire was under control at 1952. Fire crews from Willesden, Wembley and Park Royal fire stations were in attendance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
