Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Wycombe Road in Tottenham.
A three-roomed flat on the first floor of residential block was destroyed by fire and part of the roof was also damaged by the blaze. One man left the property before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
Lansdowne Road was closed between Wycombe Road and St Paul’s Road whilst crews worked to make the scene safe.
The Brigade was called at 2358 and the fire was under control by 0115. Fire crews from Tottenham, Walthamstow, Edmonton and Stoke Newington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
