Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters responded to reports of a fire at a commercial building on Dufour's Place in Soho.
A small part of the basement was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The fire is believed to have been caused by combustible items too close to a heat source.
The Brigade was called at 2056 and the fire was under control at 2306. Firefighters from Soho, Dowgate and Paddington fire stations attended the scene.
