Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a hostel on Arlington Road in Camden.
Part of a single room on the third floor of the building was damaged by fire. One woman left the property before the Brigade arrived and was assessed on scene.
The Brigade was called at 1105 and the fire was under control by 1204. Fire crews from Kentish Town, Euston, Soho and Paddington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
