Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters tackled a fire at two residential blocks on Maltby Drive in Enfield.
A small part of the ground floor communal lobbies were damaged by fire. Two people were treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews after suffering from inhalation.
Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras to check for any fire spread and remaining hot spots.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took four calls to the fire and gave vital fire survival guidance to those inside on how to stay safe before firefighters arrived.
The Brigade was called at 0500 and the fire was under control by 0610. Fire crews from Enfield and Edmonton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
