Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Tidford Road in Welling.
Half of the ground floor of the semi-detached house was damaged by the fire. Thankfully, no one was injured.
The Brigade was called at 0644 and the incident was over by 0722. Fire crews from Plumstead, Bexley and Erith fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Met police.
