Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a scrapyard on Landau Way in Erith.
Around 50 tonnes of scrap metal was destroyed by fire. There have been no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2237 and the fire was brought under control by 0119. Crews from Erith, Bexley and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
