Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters tackled a fire on Cambridge Road in Kilburn.
Around one tonne of domestic waste inside a derelict single-storey building was alight. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers received five calls about the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1943 and the fire was brought under control by 2130. Crews from Paddington, North Kensington, Kensington Willesden and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
