Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters responded to a fire on Grove Park Gardens in Chiswick.
Crews responded to fire in a house, and one of the Brigade's 32m ladders was deployed at the incident. The roof and third floor of the property were severely damaged by fire. During firefighting operations, the ground and lower ground floors suffered some water damage.
The Brigade was first called about the fire at 0946 and the incident was under control by 1152. Crews from Chiswick, Hammersmith, Richmond and surrounding fire stations are at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
