Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Coronation Road in Hayes.
Half of the first floor of a semi detached two storey house was destroyed by fire. One man was treated by London Ambulance Service for burns to the hand.

The Brigade was called at 1410 and the incident was over by 1536. Fire crews from Heathrow, Southall, Hayes and Hillingdon fire stations were in attendance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
