Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire on Charleville Road in West Kensington.
A basement kitchen, with a restaurant and flats above, was destroyed by fire. Part of the ground floor restaurant was also damaged. There have been no reports of any injuries at this time.
The Brigade was called at 1421 and the fire was brought under control by 1540. Crews from Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington and surrounding fire stations have been at the scene.
The cause of the fire has been recorded as accidental.
