Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a bungalow on Tom Coombs Close in Eltham.
A mid-terraced bungalow was destroyed by fire. Three people left the building before the Brigade arrived. They were all assessed on scene by London Ambulance Service crews and a woman was taken to hospital.
The Brigade was called at 1952 and the fire was under control by 2117. Fire crews from Lee Green, Sidcup and East Greenwich fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
