Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a at a restaurant with flats above on Edgware Road in Paddington.
External ducting running from the ground to second floor of the five-storey building was partially destroyed by fire, and the external wall of the third floor was superficially damaged by the blaze. There were no injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers received 10 calls about the fire. The Brigade was called at 1825 and the fire was under control by 1917. Crews from Paddington, Euston, Kensington and North Kensington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
