Five fire engines and around 35 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Edgware Road.
Half of a three-roomed flat on the ninth floor of the building was damaged by the fire. One of the Brigade's 32m ladders was deployed to the scene and used as an observation tower. There are no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade received five calls reporting the fire, with the first taken at 0958. Crews had the incident under control by 1053. Firefighters from Soho and Paddington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
