Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at an end of terrace house on Patrick Connolly Gardens in Bromley by Bow.
A single storey shed in the rear garden and a first floor window of the house were destroyed by the fire. A small part of the guttering was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 21 calls regarding the blaze. The first call was at 1529 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1703. Crews from Poplar, Millwall and Shadwell attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
