Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at a semi-detached house on Braemar Gardens in Colindale.
Most of the ground and first floor were damaged by the fire. Half of the ground floor, part of the first floor and a small part of the fascia of a neighbouring property were also damaged in the blaze. Ten people left the building before the Brigade arrived. There are no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 20 calls regarding the fire. The first call was received at 2036 and the fire was under control by 2154. Firefighters from Mill Hill, Hendon, Stanmore and Finchley fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
