Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Sirdar Road in Notting Hill.
Half of a flat on the sixth floor of a ten-storey residential block was damaged by fire. Around 20 people left the building before firefighters arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2239 and the fire was extinguished by 0057. Crews from North Kensington, Hammersmith, Fulham, Chiswick and Feltham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police.
