Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Whiteley Road in Crystal Palace.
A four-roomed flat on the ground floor of the three-storey house was partially damaged by fire. One adult woman suffering smoke inhalation was led to safety by firefighters before being taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 2134 and the fire was under control by 2303. Crews from West Norwood, Forest Hill, Woodside, and Norbury fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
