Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at a hotel on Leinster Gardens in Paddington.
Part of the lower ground floor of the hotel was damaged by fire. Around 90 people left before firefighters arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0212 and the fire was extinguished by 0405. Crews from Paddington, Kensington, North Kensington and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police.
