Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a mid-terraced house on Sotheby Road in Highbury.
Part of the basement of the three floored house was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2028 and the incident was over for firefighters by 2123. Firefighters from Islington, Holloway, Stoke Newington and Chingford fire stations attended the scene.
