House fire - Grove Park

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a derelict house on Baring Road in Grove Park.

Half of the roof, part of the loft space and part of the roof of a two-storey detached house was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade's 999 Control Officers received eight calls about the fire.

The Brigade was called at 1729 and the fire was extinguished by 1929. Crews from Lee Green, Lewisham and Bromley fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police.
