Firefighters were called to assist police following a fire at a property on Branksome Way in Kingsbury.
Sadly, a woman was declared dead at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 2028 and the incident was over for firefighters at 2057. A crew from Stanmore Fire Station attended the scene.
The incident is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
