Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire on Powis Square in Notting Hill.
The fire occurred in a six-storey end-of-terraced house converted into flats. Part of a four-roomed first floor flat was damaged by fire. Four people left the flat before firefighters arrived and two people were treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews for smoke inhalation.
The Brigade's Control Officers received around 14 calls about the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1454 and the fire was extinguished by 1600. Crews from North Kensington, Paddington and Hammersmith fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
