Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Clarendon Road in Edmonton.
Part of the first floor was damaged by fire. Eleven people left the building before the Brigade arrived. One man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 1534 and the fire was under control by 1630. Fire crews from Tottenham, Edmonton and Stoke Newington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
