Firefighters rescued a man from a fire from a fire on Boyland Road in Bromley.
The fire occurred in a ground floor maisonette, situated within a two-storey end-of-terraced house. One man was rescued from the property by firefighters. He was given immediate emergency care by crews before being taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 0644 and the incident was over for firefighters by 0715. Three fire engines from Bromley, Lee Green and Beckenham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police.
