Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a warehouse fire on Wallis Road in Hackney.
Half of a storage unit on the second floor of the three-storey commercial warehouse was damaged by fire. There are no reports of any injuries.
One of the Brigade’s 32-metre turntable ladders was used as an observation tower at the scene to provide an aerial view of the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1659 and the fire was under control by 1952. Crews from Homerton, Leyton, Bethnal Green and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
