Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a derelict building on Albert Road in Belvedere.
Most of the one storey building was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1834 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1921. Crews from Erith, Bexley and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
