Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at an end of terrace shop with dwellings above on Bramley Road in Southgate.
A five roomed flat on the first and second floor was destroyed by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
Control Officers took 22 calls regarding the blaze. The first was received at 1318 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1352. Crews from Enfield and Finchley fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
