Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Church Elm Lane in Dagenham.
Parts of the ground floor, first floor, and roof were damaged by the fire, and a conservatory on the rear of the property was destroyed. The roof of a conservatory on a neighbouring property was also partially damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0407 and the fire was under control by 0511. Crews from Dagenham, Barking and Ilford fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
