Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a residential block of flats on Challice Way in Brixton.
A four-roomed flat on the third floor, in a six-storey building, was partially damaged by fire. There are no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1458 and the fire was under control by 1608. Crews from Norbury, Brixton, Clapham, and West Norwood Fire Station attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
