Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a block of flats on Hudson Close in White City.
Half of a four-roomed flat on the first floor of the five-storey building was damaged by fire. One adult woman suffering from smoke inhalation was treated on scene by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade received the first of three calls at 1857 and the fire was under control by 1942. Crews from Hammersmith, North Kensington and Paddington Fire Station attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service.
