Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Timms Close in Bromley.
Part of the roof of a three-storey detached house was damaged by fire. A ground floor window was also damaged along with an external shed. Four people left the property before firefighters arrived and there were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2236 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Bromley, Sidcup and Beckenham fire stations attended the scene. The fire was extinguished by 0030.
The fire is being treated as accidental and believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
