Firefighters attended a road traffic collision at the junction of Coventry Street and Haymarket near Piccadilly Circus.
A vehicle collided with the front of a restaurant. Firefighters released one person who was confirmed to be trapped inside the vehicle, using cutting gear to remove one of the vehicle's doors. They were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews, along with two further patients.
The Brigade was called at 1859 and Control Officers mobilised two fire engines from Soho Fire Station and two fire rescue units from Euston and Battersea fire stations to the scene. A 32-metre turntable ladder from Soho Fire Station also attended the scene.
The incident was left in the care of the Metropolitan Police.
