Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a mid-terraced restaurant with dwellings above on Chiswick High Road in Chiswick.
A small part of the basement was damaged by the fire. Six people were led to safety by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus. There were no reports of any injuries.
Control Officers took the first of 5 calls at 0103 and mobilised crews from Chiswick, Acton and Hammersmith Fire Stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 0215.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
