Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at a terraced house converted into flats on Holmewood Road in Brixton.
Half of the ground and first floors and the entirety of the roof of the three-storey property were destroyed by fire. Two people were assessed on-scene by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took over 20 calls to this fire. The Brigade was first called at 2331 and the fire was under control by 0227. Crews from Brixton, Forest Hill, West Norwood and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service.
