Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a hostel on Bute Gardens in Hammersmith.
A cupboard on the second floor was partially damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
Control Officers received the first of two calls at 0942 and mobilised crews from Hammersmith, Fulham and Chelsea fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1112.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
