Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a house on Glenbow Road in Bromley.
Half of the first floor of the mid-terraced house was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and the cause has been recorded as undetermined.
The Brigade was called at 1355 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1529. Crews from Beckenham, Lewisham, Lee Green and Forest Hill fire stations attended the scene.
